package logistics s are a central component of daily operations at the sawmill. Where orders, shipping preparation, storage locations, and package movements all come together, a consistent information system is crucial. Package tracking is often recorded manually on paper or digitally, or relies on the knowledge of individual employees. TiPal creates a visual platform for packages, warehouses, work orders, and inventory, thereby streamlining the work of forklift operators by eliminating empty runs and unnecessary package movements.

Digital and Integrated

TiPal combines digital package tracking with a clear overview of inventory levels and seamless integration with TiCom. This ensures that packages and storage locations are uniquely identified, storage areas are displayed transparently, and all relevant information—from orders to route planning to delivery slips—is consistently linked throughout the process.

Forklift: An onboard computer and RFID technology enable the digital tracking and location of packages. Packages can be easily picked up and set down using the keypad.

Warehouse: The graphical warehouse overview displays all storage locations, all packages, and the destination warehouse for package movements.

Integrated Process: TiCom and TiPal combine orders, route planning, and package logistics into a seamless process. Orders and routes are planned in TiCom and transferred to TiPal. There, the required packages are located, moved, and prepared for loading. The recorded package movements are fed back into TiCom and track the order all the way to the delivery receipt. This ensures that all relevant information remains consistently linked throughout the process.

Transparent Warehouse Logistics

Greater transparency: You can see inventory levels, where needed packages are located, and what tasks are next. TiPal visualizes inventory, tasks, and package locations.

Less time spent searching: Forklift operators no longer have to search for the packages they need. The system displays the relevant storage location directly.

Consistent Data: Orders, routes, package movements, and delivery slips are linked together. This ensures that the process remains traceable within TiCom as well.

More Efficient Intralogistics: TiPal increases intralogistics efficiency by up to 20%. This prevents empty runs and unnecessary package movements.
