With the PTV integration in TiCom, advanced mapping and routing features are available directly within the existing system. Orders, customer data, and address information can be displayed on the map, routes can be planned, and travel routes can be calculated—without the need to install maps locally and regardless of individual user licenses.
Manual route planning takes time and makes it difficult to keep track of orders, distances, and routes. PTV integrates map display and route planning with the data already available in TiCom. Address data from various areas of TiCom can be displayed on an interactive map. Unassigned orders can be selected and grouped into a single route. PTV then calculates the route and transfers the resulting route data back to TiCom.

With the PTV integration, you have access to up-to-date online maps directly within TiCom. The map view is available to all employees and requires no local installation or individual map licenses.
Up-to-date map data: Online maps are provided directly by PTV and incorporate current information, such as road closures.
Centralized access for all employees: The map view is available directly in TiCom and is not tied to local installations on individual workstations.
Direct connection between TiCom and PTV: Orders and address data from TiCom are displayed on the map, while the calculated route data is then transferred back to TiCom.
Realistic Route Planning: Vehicle types, as well as height and weight restrictions, can be taken into account when calculating routes.
A Better Overview of Orders and Addresses: Customers, suppliers, service providers, orders, and other TiCom data can be clearly displayed and filtered on the map.
