In many companies, the exchange of documents between business partners remains a manual and error-prone process. Purchase orders are created, recorded as orders by the supplier, then delivered via a delivery note, and finally posted as goods received by the customer. Each of these steps involves manual data entry.

In practice, this leads to duplicate and manual data entry, as well as increased coordination efforts between the buyer and the supplier. At the same time, errors often occur regarding quantities, line items, or allocations, necessitating additional corrections. This delays processing and results in a loss of transparency throughout the entire document chain.
